My MA is in International Journalism (broadcast, conflict) but I was previously an International Journalist and Photojournalist / Photographer for 20 years with a particular interest in conflict, child soldiers and Human Rights and Africa.
I have worked in many fields but latterly have written six feature films (Dante and Lizzie, The Vampyre, The Vanishing Point, Angevin, Infernal Blood and Szopen (or Chopin) and two TV Pilots (Highgate Post Mortem and The Other Mothers) and coproduced a short film (John’s Monologue excerpted from The Vampyre).
I also have worked creatively and in Marketing and am an expert in several fields. I’m also published and write mainly rock poetry. write short stories and have written and edited two versions of the kombucha of memoirs.
I am also a parent, have MS and have modelled in ads for the MS society and the Mother of a mixed race child. (For some reason our skin colour confuses the stupid her Dad and my ex husband is called Wanje.) I am not in the least bit interested in writing on disability nor working in health.
